I create meaningful, high-quality work full of humour and humanity through design, illustration, and branding.

I graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s in Communication Design in 2012 and also studied at Langara College for a Diploma in Fine Arts.

After school, I worked at Free Agency Creative for several years as a Graphic Designer and later Senior Graphic Designer. There I developed brand identity systems, web, and print design projects for various clients. My skills in custom typography and illustration add uniqueness and character to my work.

I am proud to now work as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer on my own and have been lucky enough to work with local and global brands. I like to connect people to brands through lovingly hand-crafted, impactful, and engaging visuals. I believe in keeping the human touch in my work and embracing imperfections through hand-drawn illustrations and beautiful typography.

In addition to my work, I enjoy drawing, riding my bike, and dreaming of doing long bike tours again. I did two major cycling tours: the first a 3-month trek across Canada in 2010 from Vancouver, BC, to St. John’s, Newfoundland; and second, a 1-month tour from Vancouver, BC, to San Diego, CA, in 2011. I also love spending time with my wife, being in the sun, travelling, playing video games, and bouldering.
